University Sustainability Map

George Mason University is proud of the progress it has made in sustainability. As one of the largest institutions in Northern Virginia, Mason has a responsibility to promote sustainability for the benefit of the university, surrounding communities, the region, and the world. There are several sustainability features and initiatives on Mason’s Fairfax campus that you can actually interact with, volunteer at, or just visit. These include green buildings, campus gardens, stormwater features, zero waste installations, bike check outs, EV charging, living lab sites, wildlife areas and more. To learn more about sustainability features on campus, click on University Sustainability’s interactive map below, or add the Mobile Mason App to your phone (Get it on Google Play or Download in the App Store) and use it interactively as you explore campus!
